BOURYNES - Scientists are rushing to collect data about the superheated mass heading toward Seyllin. Despite limited information, several theories have emerged, ranging from a massive vessel heading toward the planet to a gravitational distortion in the system; no consensus has been reached to completely explain the phenomenon, however. University of Caille scientists have urged anyone to contact them immediately with any data related to these events, including any information from systems affected by [...]
Sad news have arrived from the Royal Mines at the planet of Inis-Ilix I as the bodies of the two missing scientists Henric Touvolle and Taromi Umailen were discovered near a small cave on the outskirts of one of the slave camps. It was a team of professional bounty hunters, hired by the Federation, which tracked down the scientists' whereabouts, but arrived too late to have a chance of reviving them. Tentative inspection suggests that malnutrition and respiration problems may be the cause of death, [...]
Dr Albert Vance and Dr Vic Stats, the two researchers working on a top secret project in a Josameto station belonging to the Sukuuvestaa Corporation have once again appeared in the Caldari FTL communication channel appealing to pilots to assist them in obtaining more electronic parts, again offering above the market price for these components. There has been much controversy and speculation surrounding these two scientists over the past few weeks, mainly due to the fact they refuse to release the [...]
BOURYNES 1003 - An emergency conference of scientists arranged by University of Caille has concluded that a "solar radiological pulse" originating from the blue sun of the Seyllin system is to blame for the ongoing catastrophe on its innermost planet. They ruled out the possibility of a military attack - including a potential nuclear strike - based on the size and scale of the devastation, stating that "no arsenal in the possession of any nation-state in the cluster is capable of delivering such [...]
ERAM - As reported in an earlier article, the Caldari scientist Hilen Tukoss appeared to have defected to the Minmatar Republic along with hundreds of his research staff. Speculation about his intentions was put to an end a short while ago, when Tukoss formally joined with Eifyr & Co. He spoke with The Scope only a few hours before joining Eifyr to explain why he had left the Caldari State. Feature article by Juralen Kaala __ It's after 9pm when I arrive at my destination in Metropolis. I'm surprised [...]
The Scope is reporting that the Chancellor of the CONCORD Assembly has called for a rare, emergency session. You can read the latest news of this development in the Scope Forum.
Yulai - An independent pilot has located the wreck of The Scope's on-site media shuttle and recovered the data recorder from the wreckage. While the video feed seems to be corrupt, the camera logs are largely intact and we are streaming data from them now. Images assembled from the data show the horrific battle unfolding with the CONCORD fleet massing on the Minmatar-Thukker invaders attempting to repulse their savage attack on the CONCORD Bureau station. Suddenly a huge cynosural field opens up in [...]
In a statement earlier this morning, Concord announced that they have called off the official search for Hol Hignotta, the pilot responsible for the unprovoked and fatal attack on an Opus Luxury Yacht in the Yulai system. The active search period of three weeks has passed and as they have found absolutely no leads hinting at his whereabouts, the search has been called off. Even mercenaries have been unable to track down the elusive terrorist. The lack of clues pointing to his location is breeding an [...]
The rescue team searching for Dresen Karnell on a habitable moon in Huola reports no success in locating him. The lake discovered by orbital scanning has been revealed to have a salinity fatal to humans if ingested. Karnell's remains were not discovered, indicating that he is still alive. The rescue team plans on following the stream feeding the lake, reasoning that Karnell would seek to discover a fresh water source for the lake. Further updates will be made as they become available.
The search for the Ammatar scientist downed on a habitable moon in Huola continues. The search team believes it is on the right track, as it recently discovered a day-old camp site they believe was used by Karnell. The camp site shows indications that he managed to procure a small amount of water and has a fair supply of food rations. A search of the area produced tracks that the rescue team is continuing to follow. Orbital scans revealed a small lake twenty kilometers north of the camp site. The [...]
Rescue teams have arrived on the planet Inis-Ilix I in an effort to locate the renown scientists Touvolle and Umailen, accidentally sent there as common slave labor. Machal Corde leads the search effort, but isn't very optimistic about the task ahead. 'It's like looking for a needle in a stack of needles,' he explains, clearly exasperated after dealing with befuddled Amarr officials, which don't seem to grasp the idea that slaves might have unique identities. Corde continues: 'To them [the Amarrians] [...]
In the two weeks since the events surrounding Amarr Emperor Doriam Kor-Azor's inauguration, the average Amarrian's life has been full of whispered half-truths and uneasy speculation. Rumors have run rampant from corner to corner of the vast empire, the normally subdued arenas of Amarr political debate have been close to erupting in violence on several occasions, and the Amarrian stock market has had to face record instability. "It's really a matter of the Empire's self-image, more than anything else," [...]
Krusual representatives have been lobbying their counterparts in the Vherokior and Brutor tribal houses in an effort to gain a voting majority in the Republic Parliament. Long-time rivals of current majority Sebiestor tribe, the Krusual are finding support from other tribal houses bolstered by wide-spread dissatisfaction with the leadership of current Republic Prime Minister Karin Midular. Should such a shift in the Republic majority happen, a new Prime Minister is almost a certainty. The implicit [...]
This afternoon the Minmatar Republic’s Tribal Council will convene to discuss the Sebiestor tribe’s newly proposed and highly controversial motion to place a ban on ceremonial displays of the Khumaak, an ornamental weapon often carried by Minmatar tribal leaders and high-ranking military officers during formal occasions. The Khumaak (literally “Hand of Maak”) is a replica of an ancient Amarrian relic used 125 years ago by a Minmatar slave to kill his master, thereby sparking a revolt on Ezzara VI. [...]

The Northern Coalition forces destroyed a second Avatar class Titan in Obe. Obe was the scene of another Greater BoB Community vs. Northern Coalition battle yesterday. Pod pilots present at this battle numbered about half of those active at the E-OGL4 battles, but the Northern Coalition deployed a much larger percentage of dreadnoughts than in previous engagements. Pashanai - A series of secondary explosions has rocked the shattered hulk of the Ministry of War station in Pashanai. Given the extensive and ongoing rescue and recovery operations taking place, this new series of blasts is sure to add to the death toll, especially among responders and aid workers. It is unclear as yet what caused these secondary blasts. While some theorize that they are the result of charges placed by the original terrorists with the express purpose of targeting first responders, the [...]
